Roof replacements in Greater Houston

Replace the roof.
Get the details right.

Understand the work

A closer look at the work.

Decide based on condition

Recurring leaks, widespread deterioration, and materials that can no longer be repaired reliably can support replacement. Age is one consideration, but it does not tell the whole story. We explain what is happening on your roof and why a repair or replacement recommendation makes sense.

Remove roofing and inspect the deck

Our replacement approach includes a full tear-off to inspect the deck instead of layering new shingles over concealed problems. We document damaged or unsuitable decking and discuss necessary corrections. Your proposal should explain how additional deck work is priced and approved.

Build a complete roofing system

Underlayment, appropriate leak barriers, starter and ridge products, flashing, and roof accessories matter alongside the visible roofing. We review penetrations, walls, chimneys, valleys, and other transitions. Flashing should direct water as part of the assembly rather than depend on surface caulk alone.

Choose materials with a clear comparison

We discuss architectural shingles and standing seam metal in relation to your home, budget, and goals. You should know the specified products, the included details, and the written warranty terms. A higher-priced material is not automatically the right recommendation for every home.

Coordinate ventilation, protection, and cleanup

We review the ventilation approach in the context of the attic design and the roofing scope. Before work starts, discuss access, staging, property protection, and household needs. We document the work as it progresses and review the completed roofing scope and cleanup with you.

Atlas Pro installers · 3M Scotchgard Protector

A roof that looks good.
Protection against algae streaks.

Holy Hammer is an Atlas Pro installer. One of the features we value most for Houston homes is 3M™ Scotchgard™ Protector on qualifying Atlas shingles. In our humid climate, helping a roof resist algae staining is an important part of keeping it looking good over time.

Protection built into the granules

Scotchgard Protector uses copper-containing granules that release copper ions over time to help resist the algae responsible for dark roof streaks. We explain which Atlas shingle options include this protection and help you compare colors, styles, and the complete roofing system.

A lifetime algae-resistance limited warranty

Qualifying Atlas shingles featuring Scotchgard Protector carry the manufacturer’s Lifetime Algae Resistance Limited Warranty against black streaks caused by blue-green algae. Eligibility depends on the specified shingles, required compatible Scotchgard-protected hip and ridge products, proper installation, and the written warranty terms.

We review the coverage for your selected system with you, including how Atlas defines lifetime, transfer provisions, and applicable limitations. This algae-staining coverage is distinct from protection against leaks or storm damage.

Your questions, answered

Before you decide.

How long will replacement take?

The timeline depends on size, pitch, complexity, material, weather, and concealed conditions. We discuss a project-specific schedule and communicate changes rather than promising the same duration for every roof.

Will I see what is underneath the new roofing?

We use progress photographs to document conditions and important installation details. Ask about the deck findings and any additional work before those areas are covered.
